Karl Johan (1849-1907) the first one who got the name Selldin

Karl Johan (Holm) Selldin was dragoon in the Life Regiment (Livregementets dragoner), then he worked as a coachman. After the family had moved to live in Stockholm in 1889 he was "fodermarsk" which is an elderly Swedish name for a person who is responsible for feeding and care of the horses in a large stable.
